I needed to write and tell you how much I appreciate the book you wrote. I got your book a few weeks ago after I happened upon your page on one of the Christian nings. I didn't really know what to expect. I hoped that it would be something I could relate to. After all, I was never poor. I was never homeless. None of my parents were hooked on drugs. I had none of the other horror stories I've read about. So many of them come across almost self-sacrificing. Your book, though it had many of those things, came across strong. I can appreciate that.

My story has everything to do with a date gone wrong. I dated the wrong people in rebellion to my parents. The last time just happened to put me in jeopardy. I never thought I would get past all that happened over that weekend. Even with an ivy league education, I was despondent. So, here I am trying to secretly put a tourniquet on a bleeding wound. Your book helped tremendously. Thank you and I look forward to buying many more of your books, and supporting all that you do.
